Ra
Who is Ra?
Ra (it is pronounced ray) is the Sun God of ancient Egypt. Ra is said to symbolize warmth, growth, and of course sunlight. He is said be the "king of the gods," because ancient Egyptians said that every god should share an aspect of Ra, while he would represent every god as well. Ancient Egyptians believed that he was the "creator of everything".
Ra's Appearance
Ra had a human body, with a falcon head. The falcon head was crowned with a sun disc (a winged disk representing a sun god). There are also many other depictions of Ra.
Bastet
Who is Bastet?
Bastet was the Egyptian goddess of cats. Bastet represented lower Egypt. Bastet is said to have replaced the ancient goddess Mafdet, the earliest cat goddess of ancient Egypt.
Bastet's Appearance
Bastet's appearance usually represents a woman body with the head of a domesticated cat or as a lioness. In ancient Egypt it was said that Bastet portrayed as a cat, she a connection with the moon and during daylight she represents a lioness.
Hathor
Who is Hathor?
Hathor was the Egyptian sky goddess of love, joy and pregnancy. Hathor was the goddess of fertility and was the guardian of pregnant women. Hathor married Horus and did not have any children with him.
Hathor's Appearance
Hathor represents the body of a woman and has a head of a cow. Bat- a goddess that also represents a cow- has horns curve inward and Hathor's curve outward slightly.
Sekhmet
Who is Sekhmet?
Sekhmet is the sun goddess of war. She married Ptah and had two children, Imhotep and Nefertum. Sekhmet was the warrior goddess of vengeance, destruction and conquest. As a lioness she represented the fiercest hunter known by ancient Egyptians.

Ma'at
Who is Ma'at?
Ma'at is the Egyptian goddess of the balance, truth and justice. Ma'at meant "truth" in Egyptian. A role of hers was to weigh the words that were spoken in the Underworld. She is also considered the controller the stars and the seasons.

Shu
Who is Shu?
Shu is the Egyptian god of wind and sky. Shu took his sister, Tefnut, as his wife and together they had two children, Geb and Nut.
